Bioluminescent Kayak Tour
Experience the magic of bioluminescence on a unique paddling tour. This nighttime adventure offers an unforgettable encounter with bioluminescent organisms, showcasing the captivating phenomenon of living creatures emitting visible light. This natural light show, known as bioluminescence, is a form of chemiluminescence that will leave you in awe. Bioluminescence is common in marine invertebrates and certain fungi, microorganisms including some bioluminescent bacteria, and terrestrial invertebrates such as fireflies. The light is produced in two ways, either bacteriologically, by symbiotic organisms such as Vibrio bacteria, or autogenically, produced by the animals themselves.
